a fox in the woods

we have never seen a fox in the woods before, and very rarely see foxes by day at all, probably because the pack scares them off. Unfortunately the photos are blurred even with the mighty Nikon because it was a very grey day and the light was poor. Even so, the flash of red is what you see. Spot gave chase for about 5 microseconds before returning to his usual buffoonery.

We have no foxes here in our neighborhood, but we do have Coyotes. They are often seen in the farm fields around here. Good photos, thanks for sharing.

do you have foxes in North America? We certainly don't have wolves or coyotes in Cornwall (apart from the Orchard House mob)

No coyotes or wolves here on my island but we do have small red foxes, looking exactly like yours! Maybe it's a coastal thing??

Oh yes, there are foxes in North America, but just not here in our neighborhood. Maybe in more wooded areas or futher afield.
