Eleanor set up her paddling pool after school on Fri. At tea time yesterday we found a water boatman in there. Very curious to know how he got in there. Have assumed he was dropped in by a bird. What do you think?
It depends what you are calling a wbm, if you mean the little aquatic bug I don't know, if you mean a pond skater (the ones that sit on the surface and create ripples)they can fly.

No, it was definitely the one that clings to the underside of the surface of the water. I'm actually not bad on pond bugs!
