only in our imagination
It's been a tumultuous year for everyone everywhere, and a sad one for us, but here's to a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you all.
I've never really given any thought to how the blog may be viewed in the future. But you have planted the germ of an idea in my mind. I 'do' a lot of family history and I'm always wondering "but what were they really like?" and "how did they think and feel?". I'm thinking of printing off my entire blog at some stage and leaving a copy with my personal effects in the hope that one day, perhaps, a great grandchild might ask the same questions.

Your blog will long be a fitting testament to Cassie's favourite places
that's a thought, Deri, what do you think will happen to our blogs in the long distant future? Source material for intergalactic anthropologists?
