it happens every year, but it is a spectacular sight deep in the woods, a blaze of luminous blue in the dappled morning light. Unfortunately it doesn't last long.
We have friends from North Carolina coming to stay with us at the end of this month and we were hoping that the bluebells would still be around for them. Judging by what we saw on our walk today there's no chance of that happening.
